Sofia (2026) presents a female figure in profile, her face emerging through overlapping layers of colour, texture and exposed metal.

Rather than confronting the viewer directly, the portrait turns inward. Seny builds the face through fragmented marks and contrasting tones, while vivid orange and blue areas animate the composition and frame the figure against the raw surface.

Executed in mixed media on rusty metal, the work reflects Seny’s interest in combining portraiture with materials drawn from an urban environment. The oxidation, scratches and irregularities of the metal remain visible, becoming an active part of the image rather than simply its support.

Sofia brings together the sensitivity of Seny’s portraiture with the raw, layered character of his street-art practice.
