Djibril (2023) translates Seny’s distinctive approach to portraiture into the medium of lithography.

Set against an intense orange background, the young figure looks upward, his face partially obscured by oversized glasses. Turquoise clothing, deep black tones and vivid touches of colour create a striking contrast, while the upward gaze gives the portrait a sense of openness and contemplation.

Printed in eight colours on BFK Rives paper, the work retains the visual energy of Seny’s original paintings while introducing the precision and texture of lithographic printing.

Djibril is available in two versions: a lithograph produced in an edition of 20 and a hand-finished version produced in an edition of 10. Both versions are hand-signed by the artist.
