Intérieur d’Atelier Martha Jungwirth (2026) imagines the studio as a space where the artist and the physical energy of painting coexist.

A seated figure occupies the foreground, while an expansive, gestural composition unfolds across the wall behind her. Loose lines, layered marks and flashes of pink, white and dark pigment contrast with the stillness of the figure, creating a dialogue between presence and movement.

Sébastien Bayet combines oil with fabrics incorporated directly into the canvas, allowing texture, fragments and irregular surfaces to become part of the image.
