Juxtapose (2024) brings together some of Mr. Brainwash’s most recognizable references in a densely layered composition of street-art imagery, graffiti and popular culture.

Charlie Chaplin and Albert Einstein appear against a vivid red field surrounded by splashes of colour, handwritten messages and graphic interventions. Phrases such as “Love Is the Answer” and “Follow Your Heart” introduce the optimistic vocabulary that runs throughout the artist’s work.

The title Juxtapose reflects the construction of the composition itself: cultural icons, slogans and fragments of urban visual language are placed side by side, creating a collision between different generations and references.

Executed in mixed media on paper, this unique work from 2024 is hand-signed by the artist.
