Balloon Girl (2025) is a unique work by Mr. Brainwash, combining silkscreen and mixed media on wood in a densely layered composition.

A young girl reaches toward a bright red heart-shaped balloon against a raw wooden surface covered with graffiti, handwritten phrases, paint drips and references to popular culture. Messages such as “Never Give Up” and “Life Is Beautiful” introduce the optimistic language that recurs throughout Mr. Brainwash’s practice.

The contrast between the monochrome figure, vivid colours and exposed wood gives the work the appearance of an urban wall built up through successive layers of images and interventions.
