Julius Cavero is an American painter also know under the blaze « T-Kid 170 ». He was born in the Bronx in 1961, where he currently lives and works. He is one of the emblematic figures of the American graffiti scene of the late of 70’s. Known for his innovative style, his 3D lettering and his atypical characters, he deeply influenced urban painting.

His colorful lettering game and his creations draw attention of Henry Chalftant and Martha Cooper who decide to publish his work in their book « Subway Art » (1980). This book will help to make him an international legend.
