Flow Vert (circa 2021) is a unique sculpture by French artist Paul Sibuet, built around the contrast between a solid architectural base and the apparent fluidity of its upper form.
A vivid green stream of aluminum rises vertically from a concrete pedestal, while the material appears to pool and spill over its edges. The sculpture creates a visual paradox: metal is made to resemble a liquid captured in motion, transforming a fleeting gesture into a permanent physical form.
The tension between the raw, geometric concrete base and the glossy green surface further emphasizes the opposition between weight and movement, solidity and fluidity that defines the work.
