Pot de colle (2017) reflects Dran’s distinctive ability to turn an ordinary object into a playful and unexpected character.

At the centre of the composition, a tube of glue is given arms, legs and a mischievous personality, standing against a loosely painted grey background. The simplicity of the scene draws attention to the absurd transformation of an everyday object, combining visual humour with Dran’s characteristic cartoon-like language.

Through this modest and deliberately direct composition, Dran plays with scale, personification and the familiar imagery of daily life.
