Herr Nilsson is a Swedish street artist based in Stockholm, known for reworking familiar characters from cartoons and popular culture through dark humor and unexpected scenarios.

After initially working within a more traditional gallery context, Nilsson turned increasingly to the street, using public space to place his images directly into everyday life. His interventions often transform recognizable cultural icons into provocative or unsettling figures, challenging the innocence and familiarity associated with their original imagery.

Among his best-known works are his subversive depictions of fairy-tale and cartoon characters, which have gained wide attention both in public spaces and online. Working across painting, drawing, sculpture and street interventions, Nilsson combines humor with social observation to question contemporary culture and the images that shape it.

His work has been exhibited internationally, including presentations in New York, London, Miami, Berlin and Tel Aviv.
